Well, after the 2nd day of Spring shoe shopping and coming home empty handed,
I broke down and ate a Filet-O-Fish for lunch. Man, it's been a long time. Why do the worst foods taste so damn good? And why do all of the fabulous shoes in Munich only come in sizes up to 40?

When Kevin was in Munich, he went to several specialty stores for "big and tall" men. Certainly there are those for women too? I can ask him if he remembers the stores. He has a similar problem... 50.5 is his size (I think...).
I'm with you on that size 40 problem. Now that I'm interested in wearing heels again, I can no longer shop in the men's dept. But, on a positive note, my feet have shrunk to size 41 now and I can squeeze into the size 40's that currently fill my closet.
BTW, I'll be in Munich from March 9-13. Wanna hang out?

I wear a 41 (US 10) which is not exactly huge. And in all fairness, some of my favorite stores carry 41's but only in small quantities. I really should go shopping as soon as they get new shipments in. Oh, and I have found stores that carry larger sized women's shoes but the styles are HORRIFIC!
