Lippenstift
G is in NYC with his Father until next week, so yesterday, I spent the entire afternoon shopping. I went to Marienplatz because in addition to looking for new jeans (I'm so over straight legs), I needed to pick up a new nude lipstick from MAC. After changing my hair color, my favorite everyday pink lipstick now looks a little cartoonish! Well after six hours and a gazillion stores, I came home with a white cotton T-shirt from H&M. That's it. I can't explain it. I saw so many things I liked but once I tried them on, everything was just blah. Don't you hate that? And despite the super nice boy (wearing more make up than any girl in the area) from MAC, helping me try on about 15 shades of lipstick and liners, I couldn't make a decision. I didn't buy one! You know he wanted to scratch my eyes out.

Taste Test
Last year, Robbie's fur started falling out and we noticed that he was constantly scratching himself. If you patted him on the head, fur would be all over your hands and when we bathed him, he lost clumps of fur. It was awful. After many appointments to many different Vets, we realized he is allergic to corn. We changed his food to a different brand (salmon base) and within a couple of weeks, the shedding and scratching stopped and the fur grew back. Well, around Easter, it started again. We hope he isn't allergic to wheat too. So today I bought yet another brand (chicken vegetable base) and Robbie's taste test began - one tiny morsel of food, sniffed, licked, and played with for 15 minutes before it is deemed acceptable.

Laying Out
Needless to say, I don't need to lay out in the summer. I am golden brown all year round. Although I will admit, having a sun kissed, bronze glow is nice. But I can get the same effect with Bronzer in less than 30 seconds. Anyway, having a blond hair and blue eyed mate, increases my time in the sun considerably. I have gotten more tan lines with G than in my entire life! Last year alone, I have laid out in Vegas, Florida, The Cayman Islands, Texas, Hawaii, Mexico, The Bahamas, and this weekend, in Starnberg. We spent Saturday and Sunday at the beach. Das Wetter war toll! By the way, we are in the process of planning our honeymoon. We are going to Kenya. Can you imagine me, in Africa.... laying out?!

Meine kranken Jungen
Well, our holiday weekend in Frankfurt with G's parents was a memorable one. On Friday, G woke up in the middle of the night, complaining that he couldn't breath. He said his chest was tight and he couldn't stop wheezing and coughing. Very scary. We drove to the ER and it turns out, it was a very bad allergic reaction....to what, we still don't know. They gave him medication but he continued feeling horrible all weekend and this morning, he couldn't even make it to the office. He saw another doctor, took an series of allergy tests and was given some stronger medication - to allow him to breath. We are waiting for the results. Thank God, he is feeling better. And to make the weekend even more interesting, Robbie starting vomiting black pieces of plastic. We have no idea what he ate. He didn't show any other signs of being sick or in pain so we let him get everything out the natural way. He's fine...I'm hoping G will be too.

Pantyhose & Schweinsteiger
Last week, G called me from the office and told me he had a surprise for me on Saturday. He said I had to be ready by 2:30 and then he asked me if I had pantyhose. He said I needed to wear pantyhose. Ok. By Saturday morning, I already had a mental note of what to wear - my favorite little black dress (perfect for every scenario), a pair of stilettos, and of course, pantyhose. But when we got home and I started to change, G said I should dress "as warm as possible" and that we would be outside for around 4 hours....what?....outside?.....the horror! Then he asked me about the pantyhose.....to wear underneath my jeans. As I put on each layer of clothing, G instructing me like a child, I wondered what event or activity was fun enough to make me want to stay outside in the cold for 4 hours? When we got to the train station, instantly, I knew. All of the crazy, painted, already drunk fans singing and yelling at each other could only mean one thing - FC Bayern Football Match! It was my first professional soccer match and it was awesome! I sang songs with no meaning, I drank too much beer, I even cheered for both teams, and guess what? I wasn't cold at all:+) Danke, G.
