to smooth nail polish - besides going to the salon!?

Seriously-- no German to describe this. It is VERY important to prime the nails. For me, this includes using a special liquid from OPI (I'll look up the name and email it later), plus a quality base clear coat. Also, do not shake the bottle of polish-- roll it between your hands as if you were rolling out dough.
